IT Technician Intern (KZN)
A vacancy exists within Engineering, KwaZulu-Natal branch for an IT Technician Intern. The position requires technical knowledge and skills with solid troubleshooting abilities on information technology systems. The successful candidate should be able to work under pressure and the ability to cope under pressure.

Duties include but not limited to:
- Familiarise oneself with all the various Hardware components Supported
- Obtain knowledge on how to properly test funtionality of all equipment
- Test all stock received in warehouse
- Prepare machines using ghost software and creating Images
- Ensure that Images for all machines supported are available and working
- Ensure there are updated backups of all Images
- Ensure that Images are constantly updated with the relevant Hardware changes
- Familiarise onself with policies and procedures regarding the procurement of stock
- Familiarise onself wit the internal stock movement procedure between the warehouse and the Prep room
- Assist other Procurement/FS staff with work when required
- Ensure Prep Room documentation is constantly updated
- Ensure that tools for testing equipment are constantly calibrated and reliable
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 Qualification (or equivalent)
- Relevant IT certificate
- A+ and/or N+ highly advantageous
- Knowledge of computer hardware and software
- Drivers license
- Technically inclined
- Good problem solving skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good communication skills
- Ability to use MS Word, Excel and Outlook is essential

Field Technician (Centurion/ Cape Town)

This position requires a technical proficiency and an in-depth knowledge of Stowe’s proprietary and 3rd party products would be advantageous.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Resolving all onsite call assignments within SLA
- Reporting on all open and unresolved issues
- Performing standby and overtime duties as an inherent requirement
- Prepping of hardware for installations and boot stock
- Regular vehicle checks
- Administration
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric Qualification (or equivalent)
- A+ Certification
- A minimum of 3-5 years experience in working in related Petroleum industry
- Product Knowledge essential such as NetPOS, NetACC, NetCON, PEC 8850 and Postec
- Driver’s License
- Must have secure parking for Company vehicle
- Knowledge of Computer Hardware
- Strong problem solving ability
- Strong administration skills i.e. timesheets, site installation documentation, overtime, petty cash
- Experience in the Winbranch system highly advantageous
- Extended Forecourt Related Devices will be an advantage
- Organizational abilities
- Passport advantageous
