Paradigm Payment 24Stowe Holdings is pleased to announce the completion of a pilot integration project for a Fleet Management Fuel Solution called “Payment24” by Paradigm Group.

For quick-to-the-market results at a cost effective, local (RSA) solution, Stowe played a key role in the integration of a typical service station Forecourt Controller and POS architecture, to that with the Paradigm solution.

In this particular project the NetPOS system was integrated with Payment 24, with a strategy to assist and co-operate with other software solution providers – to which Stowe is the key Support vendor – on similar integrations.

The basic principle is that together with the POS solution (in this case acting as a forecourt POS controller), the Payment24 system will handle all transaction-upliftment, online authorisation and fleet management reporting. This will reduce the burden on the client and system user for credit management.

The payment process is simple – with an attendant tapping the vehicle window where RFID is located on a vehicle, the fuel pump is then programmed and the driver enters his unique PIN. The pump will then be tagged by the attendant to be put on “Ready” status, while the terminal requests pre-authorisation from the platform.

Dynamic customer validation is performed online, taking the Client out of the credit management process. Funds are reserved against the account and the limit is sent to the terminal. Pumps are authorised through the NetPOS controller and fuel is dispensed. When this is complete, the actual transaction and details are sent to the terminal which completes the transaction and records the details. The Fleet Management Portal is then updated with transaction detail.

Stowe is proud to once again be involved in creating new and innovative opportunities and to play a key role in the research, development and support processes. With the necessary experience now gained for its practical application, we also aim to introduce this technological offer to our development partners of other site system architectures. Stowe’s strategic goal remains to act as the support vendor to such holistic solutions.

The importance of such systems is vital in combating on-site fraud through aspects such as inflated card transactions, cloned fuel and other card-types, multiple pump transactions and multiple vehicles being filled on one transaction.
By continued investment in technology and expert partnerships, while remaining a key vendor on projects such as these, we provide our customer-base with further opportunities to cut costs, optimise its own service offerings to the market – and bring further value to the Stowe Offer.
